Custom 12V wiring harness utilizes molded connections and is conveniently

protected with an automotive style fuse block. Wiring is routed through passageways

 that are protected by grommets to guard against abrasion. In the corrosive

environment below deck, all wire joints are butt connected and heat shrunk.

These features extend the life of the electrical system.

Wall construction consists of .030" painted aluminum skins attached with stainless

 steel screws to aluminum studs on 16" centers. These studs are 1" x 1-1/2"

 rectangular tubing with .060" thick side walls which create a stronger, more durable

 wall. Skin overlaps are silicone sealed to keep the weather out.

All aluminum understructure with extruded cross members located on 24"

centers situated between 2"x 5" main frame rails, provides superior strength and

 support for an extended service life. Aluminum framework. Both the 3"x 3"

perimeter tubing and the 2"x 5" mainframe tubing (with a horizontal reinforcement web)

are extruded aluminum adding strength and years of service.

 Even hardware such as the ramp door hinges and locks are stainless steel and

fitted with grease zerks for durability and ease of use. Ramp door hinge and

3/4" pressure-treated marine decking specifically designed to withstand moisture

between all floor joints and around the perimeter. You won't find features like this

on the competition! Pressure-treated plywood. The 3/4" 7-ply marine-tech plywood

is used throughout the trailer. It is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against rot,

 delamination and decay.

For strength and weather resistance our roof is supported by 1½ x 2" extruded

aluminum supports on 16" centers. These strong supports eliminate the need for

 space robbing truss systems inside while keeping overall outside height at a minimum.

 Seamless, screwless roof utilizes VHB tape by 3M company as used in the aerospace

 industry.

 For additional strength, where it is needed most, Expedition uses a unique heavy duty

 3"x 5" extruded tongue. This tongue has a .250" wall thickness and a horizontal

reinforcement web.

For the protection of your trailer, an aluminum tread plate stone guard is a standard

feature on all Expedition models. The V-Nose enables you to utilize the front ramp
